All of key stage 2 enjoyed a trip to St Albans Abbey on Tuesday 4th October to celebrate a Harvest service. Joined by several schools in the area the singing was beautiful.

During our Small Schools Week, all of Key Stage 2 children enjoyed a day at Phasels Wood on an 'inspire day.'

The children had a go at orienteering, testing their nerves on the cresta run, bouncing their way to lunch on aeroball, using pedal power on the bikes, and balance and co-ordination on the rotating and traverse wall.

Below are a few photographs of the day, which will hopefully show how much fun we had, even in the rain.

Year 3 - 4 DT unit this half term has been smoothies. The children first of all researched the types of smoothies we could make, we then had a tasting session after which the children designed their own. Culminating in the children making their own smoothie and evaluating it. Below are a selection of pictures over several lessons.

Today we all wore something red in support of Sport Relief.

Fun was had in the afternoon with a variety of fun sports!

WORLD BOOK DAY 2016!

Today the whole school celebrated their love of reading. The children all dressed up as their favourite book character we had a selection of Harry Potter's, Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, Where's Wally, Percy Jackson and much, much more!

The older children spent time reading and sharing books with the young children and then we had a book swap.

A great day was had by all.
