We have been investigating different packaging including Easter egg, perfume and cat food boxes.We were looking at the design of the box, their original purpose, shape, colour and measurement of the boxes as well as the material used and information displayed.
By the end of our topic we will have designed and made our own packaging along with an advert to market our product!

Years 3 & 4: I just wanted to say what a pleasure it has been to read your blog posts this term! We have only been back 3 days and the range of activities and learning going on in your class is just terrific. I would be interested to know about your findings in D&T - which packaging proved most popular? Why? - What was it about this packaging that makes it popular? Was it the aesthetics (what it looks like) or how functional it is (how well it does the job)?
