Nets of 3D shapes

We have been learning to draw nets of 3D shapes and then build them into the actual shape.

To make this work we had to draw it accurately first, and draw our shape with tabs (they help hold the sides together) then carefully cut it out and remember not to cut the tabs off!

We also used Polydron to help us visualise and make our 3D shape.

" I found sticking it together really tricky and would advise others to use tape instead of glue to fix it together" -Dylan.

" I really enjoyed the drawing of the net as we had to draw the shapes exactly right otherwise it wouldn't work!" -Ethan

Below is a picture of Kacey's net and Ethan and Dylan's fully made 3D shape.
