Super Science!

We had a problem in Science! Our friend Bob (who studies penguins for a living) accidentally fell into freezing water and froze himself into a ball!

Luckily for him, we were thereto save him! We had to think of lots of different ways to melt the ice as quickly as possible. (No fire or boiling water because that would hurt him!)

We used: a hot water bottle, putting the heating on, tin foil, a plastic bag and think paper.

We left our ice balls over night to see if they were fully melted by the morning. We were using our Science enquiry skill of observing over time.

Here are some pictures of our experiment.

The hot water bottle was the winner melting Bob our of the ice the quickest!
