Year 3-4 had an exciting trip to Milton Keynes theatre to see the first production of Gangsta Granny. Here is what they thought about it.



“My favourite part in Gangsta Granny was when Bens parents came down and watched the show,” Fenella exclaimed.

Andrew said, “The acting was superb.”

Charlie stated, “Gangsta Granny was great fun because the cat was waving at the audience.”

“My favourite part was when the cat waved because it was funny. I liked the Queen’s speech and dance. Also, when the Queen let Granny and Ben go. As well as that I loved how the scene was set and I liked it when the Queen encouraged everyone to join in with the dancing.”

Simeon stated, “Gangsta Granny was fun because Ben’s mum and dad sat behind us. Also it was funny when the cat was waving and dancing.”




Caden said, “Gangsta Granny is funny and sad because the Granny dies but the cat waving at us and the dancing made me laugh.”

Owen said, “The funniest part was Granny squeaking!”

Harvey said, “It was funny because at the end the cat was waving and dancing which made me laugh, but also sad when Granny dies.”

Alex said, “Gangsta Granny was sad because the Granny dies, I wasn’t expecting it.”

Jak said, “Gangsta Granny was great fun because the characters danced even Granny, Ben and the Queen.”

Jayden stated, “He liked it when the set and scenery changed from Granny’s kitchen to a bed in hospital. It was clever.”

Jack said, “Gangsta Granny was funny because at the end the cat Ben received waved at us. Also, Ben’s dance was funny because it so bad.”

Aidan stated, “When Flavio Flavioli got kissed by Ben’s mum it was very funny!”

My favourite part of Gangsta Granny was when Flavio Flavioli spoke to people in the audience,” Eleanor said.

Finley cried, “It was hilarious when Ben tried on different dancing outfits, such as a tree!”

All this term Year 3 & 4 have been learning martial art skills. The children have been demonstrating amazing listening skills and showing great self discipline.
